HOW TO PREPARE FOR TREATMENT

Avoid makeup on the day of treatment
•Avoid taking aspirin, anti-inflammatory drugs and herbal supplements as they can
increase bleeding and bruising.
•Stop smoking and intake of alcohol
WHAT TO EXPECT
•The cosmetic physician consults with you to assess your suitability for the treatment
and provides answers to any questions or concerns you might have.
•The treatment area is disinfected and numbed to minimize pain during the procedure.
•The cosmetic physician will make a small incision with a needle and then insert a device
called a cannula into the small hole. The thread will be anchored into place and pulled out the
cannula. The procedure is finished by cutting the thread and making sure it’s secure in place.
