Micro Needling

This is a minimally invasive procedure that treats a variety of conditions using a pen shaped device with sterilized needles punctured on the surface level of the skin thereby boosting collagen production which in turn diminishes scarring, tighten or rejuvenate loose or aging skin and may also be effective in improving the appearance of stretch marks.
DOWNTIME: 2 – 3 days

HOW TO PREPARE FOR TREATMENT

• Temporarily stop usage of acid based products, retinoids etc.
• Avoid direct exposure to sunlight for 24 hours as this may cause irritation during
  treatment.

• The cosmetic physician gives you a walkthrough of the procedure.
  WHO IS NOT SUITABLE
• Patients with uncontrollable diabetes.
• Active or cystic acne.
• Have clotting or bleeding disorders.

EXPECTED OUTCOME

• Slight bruising and swelling on the skin
• Redness on the treated area, this lasts less than 24 hours.
• Rough skin that should slough off with mild peeling or flaking about 3 to 5 days.
